Latest Updates from Our Project:
A CHILLY DRAFT EXTINGUISHES YOUR TORCH. Fulfillment complete!

Greetings, Dungenerators!
Just an ultra-quickie update today to celebrate, for fulfillment is now complete! Everybody that ordered a physical thing and paid for shipping should have it (or at least a tracking number for it).
If you don't have something you should, please let me know! (Unless you've already contacted me about it; I'll have put you down on the big ol' list of Shipping Mishaps to Correct.)
If you're just now realizing you never paid for shipping / failed to update your payment method / etc., holler at me - I'm arranging for the remainders of the games and decks to be shipped to me, and I'll be able to ship you your stuff once they're tucked safely away in my modest hovel.
FOLKS ARE ENJOYING THE DUNGEON
I am absolutely giddy over the response the game has gathered thus far! Here's The Dungeon Dive giving DIE in a Dungeon their "Best Small Box Game of the Year" award:
Much appreciated! :D
Also much appreciated: all of the folks leaving ratings, reviews, playthroughs, and rules questions over on DIAD's BoardGameGeek page! The ratings really help give the game a bit of visibility and credibility, and will lead to me getting to make more of it. :)
I've also opened up a new channel in the DUNGENERATORS Discord devoted to answering any rules (or other) questions. Hop on into The Dungeon if you're scratching your head about anything!
I'll have more exciting news soon enough, but for now: I'm gonna go draw!
Keep your boots sharpened and your blade dry, - Rollin

Greetings, Dungenerators!
THE LOOT IS PRETTY MUCH ALL OUT THE DOOR
Here's a status update for every fulfillment region:
Asia / Australia / New Zealand:
Here's the current status of all the "Asian" hubs:
It's honestly taken a wild amount of time to get your games and decks to where they need to be through this fulfillment center; I'm sorry for that. I think this project got caught up in the holiday shipping (somehow!), and we are just a very, very tiny corner of all the projects VFI manages.
You can see the current status of your shipping hub here:
(Just hit ctrl+F and search for "Die in a Dungeon" to speed up the process.)
USA / South America:
With very few exceptions, everyone should have their packages!
I have been assured that replacement parts and re-shipments will be going out soon. (I have confirmed that we got caught in the convention season / holiday season rush for these.)
Europe:
Fulfillment should be fully complete! Yaaaaaaay!
UK / Canada / "Rest of World:
There are about 20 shipments that are waiting on a batch of DUNGENERATOR: Series 1 to arrive before they're sent out.
If you don't have a tracking number yet, you are probably one of those. I'm sorry it's taking so long. (This is why I encouraged everyone to get their shipping paid for as soon as possible so many times. This is the terrible price you must pay. I promise it's not vindictive.)
MANY THANKS ARE IN ORDER
It seems the time has finally come for me to start focusing on my next project (The DUNGENERATOR: Series 3). Thanks to all of you for being so kind, generous, and supportive during this entire (admittedly way-longer-than-expected) fulfillment process!
I know many of you have already reported having a good time with the game, and I'd be remiss not to point you towards the DIE in a Dungeon BoardGameGeek page. BGG remains the go-to industry hotspot for reviews and such, and leaving a positive rating and/or review there will help this game immensely to survive, thrive, and grow!
I'm putting pressure on myself to get some more drawing done on Series 3 this month (for which I already have a kick-ass name; hopefully nobody steals it before I can get the pre-launch page up).
May you all have a glorious Festivus (or whatever), and I hope to see you around the DUNGENERATORS Discord (and/or the BGG page) for questions, hack / expansion ideas, playthrough post-mortems, and new-boot goofin' around. :D

YOU HEAR A CLATTER OF HOOVES ON THE WIND. Tiny Shipping Update!
– Thu, Nov 06, 2025 at 08:40:33 PM
Greetings, Dungenerators!
Just a very teeny tiny little update to make sure everyone is up-to-date about where we're at with fulfillment:
ALL US, SA, UK, EU, CANADA, and "REST OF WORLD" SHIPMENTS HAVE BEEN SENT
As of this morning, all North and South American, UK, and EU Wave 1 and 2 backers should have either a tracking number, a package in hand, or both!
If you very recently updated your payment info to pay for shipping: Your shipment will be included with Wave 3!
If your payment info needs to be updated: I have sent you a direct message here on Kickstarter personally! (There are only about 30 of you remaining)
Please update your info at the link I've sent you and let me know to charge your card manually! If you don't do this, I cannot send you your stuff, and if I can't send you your stuff before it gets shipped out of the fulfillment centers, you will either need to pay more for shipping or your pledge will become a donation. I don't want this to happen!
ASIA, AUSTRALIA, AND NEW ZEALAND SHIPMENTS ARE (FINALLY) MOVING
These shipments have just now worked their way through the queue and started shipping to their respective countries.
Here is the current status of all Asian hub shipments:
I am really quite sorry these packages are taking so dang long. It keeps me up at night.
Taiwan: Should be arriving at the hub to begin shipping to you in 1 to 2 weeks.
Vietnam: Should be arriving at the hub to begin shipping to you in 4 to 5 weeks.
I will be sending out another update once I have word about the rest of Asia and Australia/NZ.
PLEASE WATCH FOR YOUR PACKAGES!
I am hoping to fix any and all shipping mishaps in this third and final wave of shipments.
Please check that you have everything in good condition (or that it's on its way).
IF THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR PACKAGE:
You don't have a package or tracking number:
Search your email inbox(es) for an email from BackerKit that will include a tracking number. If you don't have your package yet, it's worth checking your tracking link to make sure it's still on its way! You can always retrieve your survey here.
You seem to have an extra Series 1 DUNGENERATOR deck:
There were a bunch of upgrades to the physical version once Modiphius came aboard as co-publisher: the fancy magnetic box, the much-fancier rulebook, 2 free sets of polyhedral dice, and a free Series 1 DUNGENERATOR deck all got added to the base DIE in a Dungeon set.
In short: All is most likely well! Double-check your BackerKit survey to see if you've received all of the rewards you ordered that are marked "Physical."
Something is damaged, you've gotten the wrong thing, or your shipment has truly gone missing:
Please contact me to let me know! A Kickstarter direct message is a good method; using the BackerKit Support feature also works. If you're reporting a damaged item, pictures are really helpful (they let me file insurance claims, if at all possible). Same goes for mis-shipments: The more proof I have that it was the fault of the fulfillment center or mail service, the better off you and I are. Either way: I want to get you your rewards!
A SPIFFY FREE THING:
I spend a little bit of time over the past few weeks chipping away at a new little rules hack for ORC BORG alongside Grant Howitt's One Hundred One Page Games Jam.
It's called THE (ORC) DERELICT IS FLYING, and it's a mashup of Grant's The (Orc) Pope is Dead and RULES FOR FLYING DUNGEONS that essentially lets you break off a self-propelled chunk of spaceship, fly it around, and crash it into stuff.
It's compatible with ORC BORG, Mork Borg, or whatever other D20-friendly systems you'd like to cram it into, it's free (or you can toss me a couple bucks, of course; always appreciated), and it's here:
See, now I have gone ahead and made a long post again. I tried to keep it snappy. Tighten it up, Me!
Talk to you again soon,
--Rollin
YOU HEAR THE SCRAPING MARCH OF CLAWED FEET. Quick update on fulfillment!

– Thu, Oct 30, 2025 at 09:11:07 PM
Greetings, Dungenerators!
Fulfillment is chuggin' along, with the US, EU, and UK / Canada / Rest of World packages sent out, and the Asia / Australia / New Zealand packages all paid for and in-queue.
A Mostly Business Status update:
US / South America:
All shipments have been sent out, and tracking numbers have been uploaded! If you don't have your package yet, check to make sure you have a tracking number for it (in an email from BackerKit).
EU:
All shipments have been sent out! I still do not have tracking numbers to upload, but I am working on that. Please keep an eye out for your shipment, as I have already gotten reports of delivered packages from multiple EU countries.
Asia / Australia / New Zealand:
All shipments have been paid for (I was waiting on a final invoice) and should be arriving soon! Please keep watch for your package!I hope to get tracking numbers for these before they arrive, but I am at the mercy of my fulfillment partners.
UK / Canada / Rest of World:
All shipments have been sent out! Tracking numbers are being reformatted by the fulfillment center, and I hope to be able to upload them soon. I apologize that these tracking numbers couldn't be uploaded as soon as the packages went out; I tried my best to ask for that and make it happen. Please expect your packages soon!
Canada backers: There have been delays in shipping due to a mail workers' strike. I'm told that the shipments are all moving, now, but please be patient.
Lost or Missing Parts?
If you need replacements for a missing or damaged part: Please contact me via DM here, leave a comment, or send me a message through BackerKit and I'll get it sorted out.
Replacement parts will be shipped along with a 3rd (and final) wave of packages, soon.
That means that if you haven't taken care of filling out your survey / paying for shipping / updating your payment info / filling out your address / etc., you will soon have missed your window to do so! Anybody that falls into this category once sent out the third wave and sent the remainder of stock to my tiny apartment will need to either pay more for shipping or, if it's been a crazy long time, will have their pledge be considered a donation to the glorious cause of buying me food. (I don't want this! I want you to open up your beautiful game and have an awesome time! Please don't make me do this!)
DIE IN A DUNGEON IS BEING RECOGNIZED!
There have already been a couple of (very positive!) review videos posted by backers who have received their copies:
Both of these are lovely overviews that can help teach how to play the game. Check 'em out! I've been having a great time putting them on while I work. :D
SPEAKING OF RULES:
Massive thanks to the folks helping me by answering rules questions on DIE in a Dungeon's BoardGameGeek page! Lots of folks go there for a quick answers, and I frankly could not provide them without your help! (There is a particular person really locking it down over there, but I will not mention who by name because I did not ask if that was okay to do. Thank you again so, so much!)
Oh but ALSO, once you receive your shipment and get the game to your table, you can help me out massively by giving DIE in a Dungeon a positive rating (and/or review) on BoardGameGeek. (Assuming you enjoy it, of course.)
Another Cool Thing:
In my (limited) free time, I've been enjoying a unique and incredible roleplaying experience.
Alongside their new crowdfunding campaign, the folks behind the Mothership TTRPG have launched a bizarre 1700-player-plus large-scale roleplaying experiment which takes place (thematically) aboard the Prospero's Dream space station, and takes place (mechanically) on a special discord server they've set up for the month.
This thing has taken over any time I would normally spend gaming over the past few weeks. So far, I've gotten to impress and join a hacker collective, start a flourishing fake ID business, and roleplay as a collection of vindictive water balloons (among many other things). The Mothership team themselves are playing characters in it, alongside a menagerie of incredible writers, game designers, and artists from every corner of the tabletop industry.
It is truly a marvel to behold, and I highly recommend you step in there and take a peek around, if only because I'm not sure when such a thing might be allowed to exist again (and it's only running for a couple more weeks). If this sounds like your cup of tea, you can read more about it here: https://samsorensen.blot.im/mothership-month-2025-wargame-over/under
(and maybe stop on by for a fake ID) :D
Kyle Ferrin, Illustrator of ROOT and VAST and ARCS and other gems, is in there making killer character portraits for folks!
Luke Gearing, head writer for Mothership, is also heading up the Canyonheavy Collective
See, I meant to keep it mostly business, but then I had a bunch of neat stuff to share. Oopsie.
Anyway: Please reach out if you're having any issues with your shipment, and pop into the DUNGENERATORS discord if you have any rules questions or want to discuss your campaign progress! It's gotten even livelier in there recently.
Talk to you again soon, Dungenerators. May your packs be light but your rations full! - Rollin
A SQUAT FIGURE PASSES YOU A PACKAGE. Shipping updates!
– Thu, Oct 09, 2025 at 02:19:22 PM
Greetings, Dungenerators!
We're squarely in the phase where I'm stuck impotently tapping at the plastic rectangle that sits in front of the glowing portal that lets me communicate with all of you, urging on from afar the actions of other humans in front of other glowing portals. It's clunky and, at times, frustrating, but rejoice: progress is being made.
US AND SA ORDERS HAVE SHIPPED!
If you are in the USA or South America, you should have an email from BackerKit giving you a tracking number for your shipment.
If you fall into those categories and don't have that email:
Make sure you're checking the email attached to your KS/BackerKit order!
If you updated your address, survey, or payment information after the deadline (Wednesday, September 24th), don't worry: Your shipment will go out in a second wave! I'll be sending those to your fulfillment house (Whalebacker) early next week.
Make sure you've fully completed your survey (with your current shipping address). There are still 20 of you that haven't.
Make sure you've updated your payment information. There are 25 of you that need to do this!
A WARNING MOST DIRE:
So far, the fulfillment houses have all been accommodating in letting late-updaters trickle in! However, there will be a hard cutoff (once the remaining stock has left their warehouse) at which point you'll have to either pay more for shipping or (if it has been months) I'll have to close the BackerKit and mark your pledge as a donation. And eat your copy of the game with a fork and knife. (I don't want to do this. Please don't make me. There's so very little protein in them.)
If you're unsure whether you need to update your survey or payment info, you can either:
Search your Kickstarter / BackerKit email inbox for a series of (I imagine) increasingly panicked automatic pleas, or
Just go here and pop in your email ("Lost your survey?") and make sure:
OTHER REGIONS' STATUSES:
Asia / AUS / NZ:
VFI (your fulfillment house) has just gotten back from a weeklong vacation, and the orders are "in queue." I've reached out to try to get a clearer timeline.
EU:
Parcel4You (your fulfillment house) has the shipment data and is figuring out a new way to import it that skips their normal Shopify process. (Yes, unfortunately, we are waiting on an IT issue.) The good news: Modiphius (my multitudes-larger-and-more-influential co-publisher) is waiting on the same issue, and they've got our backs. :)
UK / CAN / Rest of World:
Zatu (your fulfillment house) has the shipments ready to go. I've followed up to get a clearer timeline.
Rest assured, I'll be sending out more updates as more shipments ship.As well as more dire warnings for the four dozen of you who aren't regularly checking your emails for desperately worded card game missives. :D
I APPRECIATE YOU!
The most nerve-wracking, hand-wringing, hair-pulling portion of running a campaign is the bit where I no longer have direct control. Having the extra funding available to turn this game from a double-sized deck of playing cards into a full-fledged, downright alluring boxed set has also stretched the project's fulfillment timeline by, oh, half a dang year, and I'm eager to prove to you that it was all worth it.
I truly appreciate all of the graciousness and patience (and most of all, gleeful enthusiasm) you've all shown while taking this journey with me. Sometimes it's a trudge, but in the end there's nowhere I'd rather be than clomping through the muck with some good buds by my side.
Keep your blades clean and your boots dry, - Rollin
